Pierce, Howells-Dodge Earn Top Honors in Scholastic Contest

NORFOLK, Neb. -- Pierce High School finished ahead of West Point-Beemer in Class C and Howells-Dodge edged Bancroft-Rosalie in Class D in the Northeast Community College scholastic contest.


Battle Creek finished third in Class C and O’Neill St. Mary’s was third in Class D. 

There were more than 800 students and 39 schools represented at the contest on Thursday, March 28. Medals were awarded to the top three finishers in a variety of disciplines. The following were the results.

Scholastic Results cutline 

After finishing runner-up last year, Pierce High School again claimed the Class C Scholastic Contest at Northeast Community College in 2024. Pierce has won Class C three of the past four years. Howells-Dodge won Class D this year. (Northeast Community College)
