Northeast’s campus covers a lot of ground…771 acres to be exact. Nineteen buildings situated at the northeast edge of Norfolk are where much of the action takes place. The campus also includes a farm that consists of 566 acres. All programs and services are available at the campus. We also have on-campus housing and many activities so you can have a great college experience.

NORFOLK – The director of the criminal justice program at Northeast Community College has been elected chairperson of the Nebraska Police Standards Advisory Council (PSAC). Matt McCarthy assumed the chair position in January after his election by fellow council members.

NORFOLK – A California high school softball standout has signed a letter of intent with Northeast Community College. Teanne Edens, Cloverdale, CA, is a pitcher for Cloverdale High School and will play for the Hawks beginning this fall.

NORFOLK – The Northeast Community College men’s basketball team picked up a much needed win here Monday by downing Southeast Community College 90-78. It was the first win for the 13-9 Hawks in its last five games.

NORFOLK – The recent storm that hit the Norfolk area was a perfect opportunity for two media arts instructors at Northeast Community College in Norfolk to use their equipment. Brian Anderson, broadcasting instructor, and Timothy Miller, audio recording technology and digital cinema instructor, and students set up a GoPro camera in the window of the Broadcasting Department’s Newsroom in the Cox Activities Center to capture Winter Storm Kayla as it moved onto to the Norfolk campus.
