  • Northeast Student-Athletes Earn All Academic Honors

The twenty-two student-athletes have been named to the Spring 2015 National Junior College Athletic Association Region XI Academic All-Region Teams. Northeast is a member of the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference.

  • Ripple Named New Athletic Director at Northeast

  • Northeast to Host All-Star Basketball Game June 19

Northeast Community College will host the 32nd Annual Northeast Nebraska All-Star Basketball games in the Cox Activities Center on Friday, June 19. The girls game will tip-off at 6 p.m. with the boys game to follow at 8 p.m.

  • Viso Signs with South Dakota State

    by jamesc  4/29/2015 2:17:08 PM --  NORFOLK – Another member of the Northeast Community College women’s basketball team will play basketball for an NCAA Division I school. Ena Viso, a 5’10” guard from Copenhagen, Denmark, has signed with South Dakota State University (SDSU) in Brookings, SD.

  • Oregon Signs Northeast's Trinder

    by jamesc  4/16/2015 7:51:06 AM --  NORFOLK – The University of Oregon has signed Northeast Community College women’s basketball standout Megan Trinder. The 5’7” sophomore guard from Hollywell, Queensland, Australia, signed with the NCAA Division I Ducks on Wednesday.

  • Trinder Named NJCAA All American

Megan Trinder has been named to the National Junior College Athletic Association’s Division I All American Third Team. Each team, first through third, includes ten players.

  • Moneke, Bunn Named Players of the Week

Chima Moneke has been named Division I Player of the Week by both the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) while Janea Bunn has been named Division I ICCAC Player of the Week for the week February 9-15.
