The concert will be held Sunday, October 18, at 2 p.m. in the Cox Activities Center Theatre on the Norfolk campus. It will feature selections by the Northeast College/Community Concert Band, Concert Choir, Ebony and Crimson, and Men’s and Women’s Ensembles.

  • 2,000 Students Take Part in 33rd Northeast Jazz Festival

    by jamesc  3/30/2015 11:44:11 AM --  NORFOLK – Middle and high school student musicians competed recently for top honors at the 33rd annual Northeast Jazz Festival in the Cox Activities Center on the Northeast Community College campus in Norfolk. The two-day event drew 80 musical groups from Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, and South Dakota with over 2000 students performing. The competition hosted jazz bands and show/jazz choirs for school in four levels. Twenty trophies were presented at the end of each competition day for first, second, third, and fourth place and solo and instrumental awards.

  • Northeast Student Again Invited to Join BandMasters Intercollegiate Band
