Pediatric Advanced Life Support

The purpose of Pediatric Advanced Life Support is to provide healthcare professionals with the knowledge of prevention and recognition of cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children. The participant will perform cognitive and psychomotor skills needed to resuscitate and stabilize infants and children in cardiopulmonary arrest. PRE-COURSE REQUIREMENTS: Review of Manual, review of information on student CD, completion of PALS Pre-course Self-Assessment test. Print test score and bring to class. Bring current BLS CPR card.
