Spanning more than 18,000 square feet in downtown Norfolk, the iHub is more than a facility. It is a community space where everyone belongs. Inside, you’ll find advanced labs for electromechanical systems, industrial automation, wood and metal fabrication, and rapid prototyping, as well as dedicated spaces for youth robotics, community makers, and collaborative training.

The vision for the iHub was shaped by conversations with manufacturers, educators, and community leaders who all saw the same need: a sustainable pipeline of skilled workers and a place where technology, industry, and education come together. Our work is grounded in the belief that innovation should be accessible to all, whether you are a middle school student building your first robot, an incumbent worker earning a new credential, or a community member looking to create something new.

The iHub serves a 20-county region across Northeast Nebraska, which is why much of our training equipment is portable. This allows us to meet people where they are, extending our reach into rural communities and providing opportunities for learners who might not otherwise have access.

From “K to gray” our programming spans youth robotics camps and scrimmages, adult upskilling and stackable micro-credentials, and industry-aligned workforce training. Whether it is a student exploring STEM careers, a manufacturer piloting new technology, or a retiree learning a new skill, the iHub is here to support them.

The iHub was built to last. With industry partnerships, community memberships, and forward-thinking programming, it will continue to grow alongside the needs of our region, ensuring that innovation and opportunity are not just ideas but lived experiences for our people, our businesses, and our communities.
