Mandatory Placement

We are committed to our mission of educating students to meet the requirements of today's workforce. In line with this mission, we have a mandatory placement policy that requires students who score below minimum levels in reading, writing and/or math to take transitional coursework prior to enrollment into certain courses in order to develop their academic skills.

The testing semester begins the day after the semester final grades are due in the registrar's office and ends the day the instructors' final grades are due in the registrar's office. Students may test or re-test twice a testing semester.
