Instructors' Make-Up Exams

Instructors' make-up exams are intended for students who are absent on test days due to illness, emergency, or other permissible events. Northeast's Testing Center offers a quiet, relaxed atmosphere and a flexible schedule for meeting both instructor and student needs. The Testing Center's staff will be responsible for maintaining security of exam materials, carefully verifying students' photo IDs, and administering exams according to specific guidelines set by each instructor.

Photo identification is required for all testing.

Acceptable forms of photo identification include:

  • Current college student ID
  • Current driver's license
  • State approved ID
  • Current state or federal ID card
  • Current passport or passport card
  • Tribal ID card
  • Naturalization card

In order to schedule a date and time to test, please contact the Testing Center by calling (402) 844-7281, emailing testing@northeast.edu, or visiting the Testing Center located in the College Welcome Center, Room 1252 or Room 1256.

When scheduling a testing appointment, provide the Testing Center with the following information:

  • Instructor's Name
  • Course name
  • Format: paper/pencil or computer based
  • Length of time
