Advisement and Counseling

New Beginnings is a unique program at Northeast Community College that prepares and supports single parents, single pregnant women, displaced homemakers, and individuals enrolled in a non-traditional program of study for their gender to achieve their education, training and career goals.

Services may include but are not limited to:

  • Individual support services
  • Academic advisement
  • Peer mentoring program
  • Financial assistance
  • Career planning and exploration
  • Workshops and support groups
  • Resource library
  • Newsletters
