  • Northeast Speech Team Captures Second Place at National Tournament

The Hawks earned second place in Overall Team Sweepstakes, Division II, at the Fifth Annual Junior Varsity National Tournament in Hutchinson, KS.

  • Northeast Nursing Students Teach Nutrition to Fourth Graders

Chelsea Nichols, of Bartlett, and Kelsey Mundhenke, of O’Neill, taught a class on nutrition and healthy eating recently to approximately 40 fourth grade students at Washington Elementary School in Norfolk.

The students came from 40 high schools from across the region.

  • Chamber Concert is Set for March 22

Under the direction of Dr. Linda Boullion, music department chair and director of choral music activities, the concert is set for 2 p.m. in the Cox Activities Center Theatre. Margaret Schultz is the accompanist.

  • Mitchell to Play Volleyball at Northeast

    by jamesc  3/6/2015 4:18:32 PM --  NORFOLK – A member of the Norfolk Senior High volleyball team has signed to play for Northeast Community College this fall. Layne Mitchell was a varsity award winner in her sophomore, junior and senior years and served as team captain for the Lady Panthers’ volleyball team this past season. She has 248 kills and 154 blocks in her career.

  • Forbes Elected New SGA President at Northeast

Corby Forbes, of Brunswick, has been elected president while Erika Rupprecht, of Clarkson, is the new vice president. Kirsten Cattell, of Plainview, will serve as secretary.
