  • Students Graduate in December from Northeast

    by jamesc  1/22/2015 1:24:52 PM --  NORFOLK – Two hundred-eleven students, including five earning double majors, completed their studies in December from Northeast Community College. The names of the students will be listed in the program in the College’s commencement ceremony in May.

  • Northeast Hosts Nurse Pinning Ceremony

    by jamesc  5/23/2014 11:01:16 AM --  NORFOLK - Associate degree nursing and practical nursing students received their nursing pins in a special ceremony Thursday evening at Northeast Community College in Norfolk. In addition to the Pinning Ceremony, two associate degree nursing and two practical nursing student were presented the Essence of Nursing Award for their consistent academic effort, caring actions, positive motivation toward classroom learning and clinical experience, and professional behaviors.

  • 38th Adult Education Recognition Night Held at Northeast

    by jamesc  5/23/2014 10:55:04 AM --  NORFOLK – 34 students out of 116 graduates were honored at Northeast Community College in Norfolk recently during the 38th Annual Adult Education Recognition Night. The students were honored for completing the requirements to receive a Nebraska high school diploma through the GED ® (General Educational Development) tests administered by Northeast’s Adult Education Program.

  • Risley: Never a Better Time To Be a Community College Graduate

    by jamesc  5/20/2014 7:45:36 AM --  NORFOLK – Community College graduates receive training that allows them to achieve as superior of an education as many graduates from some of the nation’s top four-year higher education institutions, according to Dr. Rod Risley, executive director of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), an international honor society of two-year colleges.

  • Candidates Announced for 41st Commencement at Northeast

    by jamesc  5/9/2014 1:42:41 PM --  NORFOLK – The 41st Commencement of Northeast Community College will take place on Saturday, May 17, at 10 a.m. in the Cox Activities Center on the Norfolk campus. As of Wednesday, May 7, some 881 students, including those earning double majors, and 207 who completed their studies this past December, were to be listed in the commencement program. Dr. Rod Risley, executive director of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), the largest honor society in higher education, will give the commencement address.
