Did you know that the Northeast College's Library Ladies will do just about anything to make life easier for students? They are always happy to help students use library resources including those wonderful databases that you can access 24/7. No, the library ladies will not do your homework for you, but they will introduce you to an online service that can improve your math, reading or writing skills.
The Learning Express Library provides a completely interactive online learning platform of practice tests and tutorials including Technical and Career College Skills in Math, Reading and Writing.
Learning Express Library is available to students, faculty, and staff after completion of a simple and painless library registration form. If you use Learning Express Library on a campus computer, you can log on and create your own user name and password. If you would like to access Learning Express when you are off campus and you are a registered library "user" you can obtain a Library Express registration (bar code) number by asking the ever-helpful library lady at the main desk.
Look for the link to Learning Express Library on the Library website under "Practice Tests & Tutorials".
Follow these steps once you are at the Learning Express website if you are not on campus computer:
- Click on New User
- Enter user name (your barcode number)
- At the next screen click on Northeast Community College then click update
- Click on Continue
- Click on any test you'd like to take and take any test as many times as you'd like.
