Present a photo ID and fill out a library registration form available at the main desk of the library. Once your name has been entered into the library’s circulation system, you may check out books and other library materials.
You may make an interlibrary loan request for library materials including books, videos and journal articles. We will then borrow the material from another library if it is available. This service is available at no charge for students, faculty and staff. There is usually a 5-7 business day turnaround.
A coin operated photocopy machine is available in the library. Charges are $ .10/page or $. 05 if you purchase a copy card available in the library for $1.00.
A black and white and color printer are available in the library. Charges for print outs are $.05 for b&w and $.25 for color.
The library does not have textbooks required for classes offered at Northeast. You may purchase your textbooks at the bookstore {phone number (402) 844-7140}.
The library welcomes all patrons from the 20 county area served by the college. Fill out a patron registration form if you would like to borrow books or other materials from the library.
When you try to access one of our databases a message box should pop up with instructions to enter your Northeast student id number.
The library subscribes to newspapers from the 20 county area served by the college, plus The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Omaha World Herald, and Lincoln Journal Star.
The library offers an extensive array of different magazines and journals.
Popular fiction books can found on the shelves in the center of the library.
