The Ceremony

Northeast Community College graduates students at the end of the fall and spring terms each year. One graduation ceremony is held at the end of the spring term. Our fall and spring graduates are invited to participate in the ceremony.

The Commencement Ceremony is the culminating event celebrating the achievements of our students. The College’s Board of Governors, President, Administration and honored speakers comprise the distinguished platform party. With Pomp and Circumstance, the graduates are honored, supported by the backdrop of faculty and staff.

Graduates will leave Northeast to embark on the next phase in life's journey. For some this will be further education. For others it will be joining the workforce. Regardless of the path they choose, Northeast is proud to honor the milestone accomplishment of graduation.

Diploma Mailing

Your diploma will be mailed to your permanent address. It is your responsibility to maintain a current permanent address for mailing. You may check your address information through your account available on the Northeast website. If it is not correct, your address can be changed at the Registrar's Office in the College Welcome Center Room 1125. Northeast Community College is not responsible for lost diplomas. The diplomas are mailed in a hard envelope and cannot be forced into an apartment size or some standard size mailboxes. Please check with your local Post Office on how they handle mail that does not fit in your mailbox. Lost or damaged diplomas cannot be reordered.

Parking Information

Graduates are asked to park in one of the back parking lots to allow convenient parking for their guests.

Picture & Video Ordering

Jolesch Photography will be taking pictures at the May 11, 2013 graduation ceremony. You may view their photographs from last year’s graduation ceremony on their website at http://www.jolesch.com. Type in Northeast Community College in the search box to view last year’s photos and prices and if you choose 5/11/2013 you can provide them with your email so they can notify you when your pictures are available. They will be taking a photo of you being presented with your diploma and one of you exiting the stage. Family members are not allowed to come up to the stage to take photos during the ceremony as it interferes with other graduate photos.

Northeast Community College Radio/TV Broadcasting students will use multiple cameras to create a complete video recording of this important event. All proceeds will support Broadcasting Club activities. Please fill out the video order form to order yourself a copy or after June 1, copies are available from iHigh.com at $24.95.
