Medical Coding 2012-2013

Earn a one-year diploma in Medical Coding and you'll be prepared for an entry-level position in the healthcare industry. You'll learn how to provide proper documentation to insurance companies for billing and reimbursement payments and how to work in a professional environment and with a variety of people.

You’ll take 33 credit hours of instruction to prepare you as an entry-level employee in a medical coding career.  You can easily transfer the course work from this diploma to the Health Information Management Services two-year degree program that is articulated with Central Community College.
