While learning fundamentals in retail merchandising, you'll develop skills for real-life situations. You'll also have the opportunity to network with area business leaders as a part of your coursework. All classes are taught by faculty with both a Masters degree and professional experience.
You’ll explore management functions, marketing and advertising, salesmanship concepts, loss prevention, and various merchandising concepts and techniques while completing this program. Along with classroom lectures and activities, you’ll take a minimum of three credit hours of cooperative internship work experience in a job directly related to the retail industry.
