Program Information
Audio and Recording Technology 2011-2012
This program is the only one of its kind in the Midwest. We offer the lowest tuition anywhere for a comprehensive program of this kind. Some comparable programs cost $50,000 or more. We have a stronger education base than many of these programs, so the benefits of Northeast's audio program are obvious.
You’ll use fully-equipped radio, television, sound recording, and video production facilities as a student in the broadcasting, audio, and video production program at Northeast Community College. You’ll learn and build hands-on skills for several different entry-level jobs in the media broadcasting and production industries. Enroll in this program and your interest and ability in music, math, science, and physics will be brought together in the field of audio and recording. You’ll use professional equipment from Digidesign, Sony, MOTU, Otari and Alesis in studio and live sound environments. Northeast’s professional facilities include two fully-equipped control rooms, four private workstation rooms, a concert stage, and two sound studios.
