Basic Nurse Aide

This course is designed to meet the Nebraska Health & Human Services System training requirements for nurse aide certification and employment in long-term care facilities. This course combines classroom lecture and laboratory application for the development of basic skills needed to provide safe, effective, and caring services to the elderly or chronically ill patient of any age, in a long-term care facility. Upon completion of this course, the student is eligible to take the state written and practical skills exam. After successfully passing this examination and completing the application procedure, the students name will be placed on the basic nurse aide registry at the Nebraska Health and Human Services Regulation and Licensure, Credentialing Division. Cpr Instructor Course

EMT Part I

This course is dedicated to the study and application of the knowledge and skills necessary for an individual to become an Emergency Medical Technician and provide emergency medical care at a basic life support level with an ambulance service or other specialized service. The course will include the first half of the applications/skills needed to apply for licensure as an EMT in the State of Nebraska. After successful completion of this course and EMTL-1845 the student will be eligible to apply to test for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) cognitive examination. Once the student has passed both the cognitive and practical skills examinations of the NREMT he/she can apply to obtain an EMT license in the State of Nebraska. Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens

Heartsaver First Aid

The Heartsaver First Aid course teaches how to manage illness and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives.
