Basic Computers I

This class is for the person who has very limited computer knowledge or none at all. The student will be taught beginning computer skills including powering the computer on and off, using a mouse and keyboard, utilizing the desktop, and launching programs. This class will be taught at a very relaxed pace for those apprehensive about operating a computer. There will be significant hands-on practice of each concept.

Basic Computers III

This class is for the person who has very limited computer knowledge. The student will be taught beginning level computer skills. This class will review and build upon skills learned in Basic Computers I and II. Concepts including using the copy, cut and paste options in the Microsoft Office operating system, and browsing the internet using Internet Explorer. This class is taught at a very relaxed pace for those persons apprehensive about operating a computer. There will be significant hands-on practice of each concept.

This is a brief introduction to skills needed to use e-mail. The student will learn the types of e-mail accounts available, creating a contact list, new e-mail, forwarding, replying, and printing as well as using the cc and bcc functions to properly forward e-mails without compromising a friend's security and reducing the chance of spamming.
