Freshman Applicants
Application Steps
Applying to Northeast is simple and free! If you have not attended Northeast previously and would like to take credit classes or pursue a degree then follow these steps:

Submit an application
Submit an Application to the Admission's Office.

Send us your high school transcripts
Send us your High School Transcripts to the Admissions Office (address below).

Send us your previous college transcripts
Send us your Previous College Transcripts to Registrar's Office (address below).

Submit your test scores
Submit your ACT or SAT scores to Admission's Office (address below).
If you don't have ACT or SAT scores, you need to contact the Testing Center to schedule an ASSET/COMPASS test.
Test scores are necessary for Mandatory Placement, which helps ensure that you meet the basic skill levels necessary to participate in a college English or Math course.

Check if your program is a Selective Admissions Program. These programs have additional admissions requirements.

Schedule orientation
Schedule your New Student Orientation Session.
When you receive your welcome letter you'll receive information about your Orientation Session. If you are taking six credit hours or more or seeking a degree you are required to participate in an Orientation before registering for classes. As a part of your orientation you will register for your classes.
